  Most of 90% of young people have a thinking like this. When we fail or if we doesn't achieve something in our life. We give up and remove that wish from our mind. Also there are some boys and girls who has gone to commit suicide when they failed in exams or couldn't achieve something. Recently, there were many shocking and horrible news in social media. This thinking is creating problems in our life and making harassment in your mind. First upon, we should know that there is no such theory that one you failed , then we are not going to achieve anything or can't succeed in your life.
